Padres Ink Eric Lauer

According to John Manuel of Baseball America the San Diego Padres have signed Kent State first round pick Eric Lauer.

Lauer is a four pitch pitcher who should be a valuable piece in the Padres rebuilding project. Lauer showed his excitement to join the Padres organization via Twitter.
