Padres Extend A.J. Preller Through 2022

According to AJ Cassavell of MLB.com, the San Diego Padres have reached a contract extension with executive vice president and general manager A.J. Preller through 2022.
The Padres have indeed extended A.J. Preller through 2022, as @sdutdennislin reported. It’s three more years on top of his original contract.

Preller joined the Padres in 2014 and has laid the groundwork in order for the organization to be successful going forward. He has added numerous pieces like Wil Myers and Brad Hand to help get the Padres in a competitive situation in the NL West.
