San Diego Padres Claim Oswaldo Arcia

According Joe Frisaro of MLB.com the San Diego Padres have claimed outfielder Oswaldo Arcia off of waivers.

Aaron Gleemen of Baseball Pro also reported the news.
Oswaldo Arcia was traded by the Twins, acquired and waived by the Rays, claimed and waived by the Marlins, and now claimed by the Padres.

Arcia spent part of four years with the Minnesota Twins. He has also spent time with the Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays this season.
In 53 games he is hitting .229 with 6 home runs. He has 19 RBI’s and has struck out 66 times. San Diego is looking for some more talent to add to their roster as the season winds down.
