Padres Beat Cards 4-2

The San Diego Padres beat the St. Louis Cardinals 4-2 on Wednesday night and have now won their fifth series in a row.
Eric Lauer got the start for the Padres. He pitched 5.2 innings allowing 8 hits and 2 runs. He walked 0 and struck out 2 as he picked up his 3rd win of the year.
On the other side, Luke Weaver got the start. He pitched 5.1 innings allowing 9 hits and 4 runs. He walked 1 and struck out 4 as he picked up his 6th loss of the year.
Freddy Galvis started things off in the first inning with a 2-run double to center field that brought in Cory Spangenberg and Christian Villanueva.
Manuel Margot hit an RBI triple in the 6th inning that brought in Franmil Reyes. Raffy Lopez followed with an RBI single that pushed the lead to 4-0.
Marcell Ozuna hit a 2-run shot that brought in Jose Martinez to cut the lead to 4-2. Brad Hand came on in the 9th inning and picked up his 21st save of the year.
