Padres Agree To a Deal With Jeremy Guthrie

According to Jon Morosi of FOX Sports the San Diego Padres have reached a minor league agreement with Jeremy Guthrie.

Guthrie is a former first round pick of the 2002 MLB Draft to the Cleveland Indians. He has spent time with the Baltimore Orioles, Kansas City Royals, Indians, and Colorado Rockies.
Guthrie won the World Series with the Royals last season. He posted a 8-8 record with a 5.95 ERA. With his contract he will start in the minors with a the possibility to get called up at any time.
San Diego will begin their season in the next few days. It’s going to be an exciting year!
