Padres Active Jarred Cosart From 10-Day DL

According to Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union Tribune, the San Diego Padres have activated right-handed pitcher Jarred Cosart from the 10-day disabled list.
The Padres have activated Jarred Cosart from the 10-day DL. Kevin Quackenbush gets optioned to El Paso for the 12th time.

Lin reported further information on Cosart’s rehab.
Jarred Cosart will fly to Nashville to throw four innings of relief for El Paso on Sunday. He likely will be activated after that outing.

The rehab assignment plan for Padres RHP Jarred Cosart was 4 innings or 65 pitches. He just threw four shutout innings on exactly 65 pitches

Cosart is a former 38th round pick of the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2008 MLB Draft. He has spent time with the Houston Astros, Miami Marlins, and San Diego Padres throughout his career.
