Ottawa Senators Vs. Los Angeles Kings Start Time, Preview, TV

The Los Angeles Kings are hot. Dean Lombardi is working the phones. And the Duarte family will be in attendance for tonight’s showdown against the Ottawa Senators. To say that the excitement level is high for tonight’s game would be an understatement.
If you didn’t know the Kings are on an eight game winning streak, you’re probably hiding under a rock somewhere. And for all new Kings fans this is nothing new. The Kings get hot, make a big deadline deal, and go on a run for the Cup. At least this sorta thing happened last year and we were satisfied with the results – the franchise’s second Stanley Cup Trophy.
Yesterday, Lombardi pulled of another trade deadline deal that sent shock waves through the NHL. Even with the team in the midst of an eight game winning streak, the organization isn’t satisfied. The city of Los Angeles has its eyes on the prize. The Kings like to hang banners up at the end of the year and with the acquisition of Andrej Sekera the goal remains “Just win baby, just win.”
Jeff Duarte, our passionate Kings writer, wrote about the beloved Kings fans base and asked about the rituals when it came to Kings games. Tonight make sure you and everyone you know does the rituals because with a win this 2014-2015 Kings team will tie a franchise record for longest winning streak. This is the same Kings team that a few weeks ago experts were questioning if there was anything left in the tank.
Throughout the streak Jonathan Quick has been excellent. He is coming off a shutout performance against the Detroit Red Wings and if he can pull it off again tonight nobody in LaLa land will be complaining.
