Orlando Magic Vs. Los Angeles Lakers Start Time, Preview, TV

The Orlando Magic will travel to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers tonight. The Lakers are coming off an embarrassing loss to their in-city rival Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night.
With Wednesday’s the loss the Lakers have lost nine of the last twelve games and are second to last in the Western Conference.
Kobe Bryant returned to the lineup after sitting out of the Lakers road game against the Blazers and was unable to get his shot to fall against the Clippers. He shot just 2-12 and scored 4 points but did have 7 assists and 8 rebounds.
Coach Byron Scott said this to NBA.com following the loss:
“I have a lot of respect for that team over there, they are a very good team, but don’t consider them a physical basketball team,” coach Byron Scott said. “But they came out and punched us and we were soft. Period.”
With the both the Lakers and Magic struggling the Lakers will look to take advantage of one the Eastern Conference’s worst teams. The Orlando Magic have lost four in a row and actually have a better road record than home.
The Magic are coming off a close loss the Denver Nuggets at home. Arron Affalo made his return trip back to Orlando after being traded last summer. Arron Afflalo said this to the media after the game:
“Just being out there on the court, they’ve gotten better from when I was there,” said Arron Afflalo, who was traded to Denver in June, less than two years after he had been traded from the Nuggets to the Magic. “Their confidence, their aggression, their strength, everything about them has gotten better. They just need more time.”
Nikola Vucevic had his second consecutive 20-point, 10-plus rebound game, but went 5 for 18 over his last two games versus Los Angeles.
The Lakers overall record is 19-5 with the Magic in LA, but most recently they have ended up splitting the last six meetings.
