OKC Routs Lakers, 112-79, In Kobe’s Final Road Game

@Lakers

In the final road game of the season, the fans of the Oklahoma City Thunder went home happy, as their Thunder beat the Los Angeles Lakers, 112-79.

In a sold-out Chesapeake Energy Arena, KD and Russell Westbrook verses Kobe for the final time, as this game wasn’t even close. The emotions were running high, as Kobe Bryant made his final appearance verses two of the best players in the game.

Bryant only scored 13 points in his final road contest, on 4 of 12 from the field, but we saw some flashes of “vintage Kobe,” on a sweet fadeaway and the three’s he made. Bryant also lead the team in scoring, while Metta World Peace added 12 off the Lakers bench.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS FOR THE LAKERS:

The only positive number coming from this game was that the Lakers got to the free-throw line more and was able to connect for 86.7%, while the Thunder only shot 59.3%.
