Nuggets Reach Out to Clippers About Blake Griffin

According to Mitch Lawrence of SiriusXM NBA the Denver Nuggets have reached out to the Los Angeles Clippers in attempt to acquire Blake Griffin.
The Clippers have talked to the Nuggets about trading Blake Griffin to Denver, per NBA sources.

Dan Woike of the Orange County Register reported that the Nuggets don’t have enough assets to acquire Griffin.

Woike reported that the discussions were very limited between the two parties.

Head coach Doc Rivers released a statement before their game against the Orlando Magic stating the Clippers were not interested in moving Griffin at this time.
With the trade deadline looming next Thursday it will be interesting if the Clippers make any moves at all. They are currently one of the best teams in the Western Conference but may look for ways to improve their roster.
