The Los Angeles Clippers will travel to New York tonight to take on the Knicks. There are a few injuries for LA. The following players will be out today Jordan Hamilton will return, Jamal Crawford is out tonight and Nate Robinson and Glen Davis is listed as “Day-to-Day.” The Knicks will be without Jose Calderon and Cleanthony Early and will make game time decisions for Alexey Shved and Travis Wear.
The Clippers are on a roll right now and it seems very unlikely that the Eastern Conference’s worst team will cause any problems for them.
They have now secured a playoff spot but they are out hunting for home court advantage in the first round. ESPN.com reports that the Clippers will be playing the next three, and six out of seven games on the road. This will be a very big determining factor for the Western Conference seeding. Chris Paul said the following to ESPN.com reporters:
“I like where we are right now. … We’re one of the few teams in the league that every night we control our own destiny,” said Paul, who’s totaled 37 assists with only five turnovers the last three games. “Just keep playing with the right spirit. Right now is when you sort of start to find those plays that you know you’re going to run in the playoffs, those go-to plays. But all-in-all we just have to keep playing.”
The Knicks are in the opposite position to the Clippers as they have dropped their last four games. They will be looking to avoid a ninth loss in eleven home games.
