This week the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Knicks:

“The Los Angeles Lakers looked to start a four-game road trip with a win against the struggling New York Knicks, after a 2OT thriller win against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night.

Nick Young and Tarik Black were both available to play on Sunday afternoon, after missing the last two games and three games, respectively.

The Lakers struggled early, only making two field goals in the first six minutes of the game. Lacking offensive production, the Lakers found themselves down by 14 after a 10-0 run by the Knicks. The first quarter ended with the Lakers trailing, 32-19. In the second quarter, the Lakers pulled to within five halfway through the quarter, but continued to struggle offensively to take the lead. The Lakers committed eight turnovers in the first half, resulting in a 47-39 deficit into the locker room. The Lakers shot an abysmal 27% in the first half. Carlos Boozer led the Lakers with nine points and five rebounds”

The Los Angeles Clippers signed coach Doc Rivers son, Austin Rivers this week:

“The Los Angeles Clippers were able to pull out a win against the defending NBA champions, the San Antonio Spurs. They won 105-85.

Blake Griffin had a big game for his team tonight. He put up 31 points, 13 boards, while Chris Paul added 20.

A huge test was set for the Clippers as they were coming off of a loss to the New Orleans Pelicans last night, and the snapping of their winning streak. they managed to put all of our doubts to bed with this big win.

At the half the Clippers were leading the Spurs 56-42 and they were able to hold onto a decent lead until the game expired. The great Blake Griffin pulled off a stunning feat tonight as he scored 25 points in 25 minutes.”
