Check out an article for Magic Johnson. Has he gone too far?
“Hello Magic Johnson, my name is Tim Morris and I grew up a huge fan of yours. I was there (watching on TV), when you announced you had HIV, I was mad, I was sad, I cried. I watched as you fought back from it and made a comeback with the Lakers years later and was heartfelt when you gave it all you had and finally hung it up for good. After that, I started to hear that you were making moves in the business world, Magic Johnson’s Fridays, I attended the first week of Magic Johnson Theaters at the Baldwin Hills Mall and I even worked at one of your 24 Hour Fitnesses, started there day 1 at the location in Altadena!
Last but definitely not least, I started to hear rumblings that you were putting together a team to buy the Dodgers once Frank McCourt had been forced to sell. Now, having been a blogger at the time of the Frank McCourt regime, so needless to say I was very excited to hear that one of my idols, a man I knew was a successful business man, someone I knew worked hard and put smart people around him might just buy my Dodgers. “

The Los Angeles Clippers beat the Houston Rockets most recently:
“The Los Angeles Clippers used a big fourth quarter to run away from the Houston Rockets tonight. DeAndre Jordan scored 24 points and grabbed 20 rebounds tonight as he dominated the game on both ends of the floor.
Last time out the Clippers beat the Dallas Mavericks tonight’s game was no different. They beat the Rockets 110-90.
James Harden came into the game hot as he was stepping out of back-to-back 40 point games. The Clippers were able to hold him to just nine points as he was just 3-12 from the field, 0-7 from three and had five turnovers.”
