  1. Justise Winslow 6’6 Small Forward – 12.6 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 2.1 APG, FG 51% / 41% 3P

Justise Winslow sits at 6’6, 235 pounds with a 6’10 wingspan. You’re already talking about him being able to guard the 1-3 spot against teams on nightly bases. He’s athletic enough to do just that. Winslow is also really aggressive defensively and has a motor that doesn’t quit when he hits the court. Winslow picks and chooses his spots very well when he’s on the court whether it be rebounding or put backs on offensive rebounds. He’s not only a one-way player though; he’s also known to be a great slasher, and great on the fly. Winslow is long enough in length and heavy enough in weight to back down players to finish at the basket. He’s great at running the floor on the fly, which will cause matchup problems at the wing in the NBA. Throughout his time at Duke he shot 41% from the 3, while shooting 51% from the field. You need a Justin Winslow on your team. He’s the guy who’s going to go out there every night and give it his all. He proved it from start to finish his freshman year at Duke.

Cons: Inexperience, inconsistency and not a great shooter. Although he shot 51% from the field it was mostly at the basket. He’s got great length and weight on him, but he might have a hard time being a full-time small forward.

Who’s to say that these cons will hold up when the beginning of the NBA season comes around? It all really depends on the work they put in, but those are just things that have been duly noted.

There are tons of other players in this draft, whether you’re looking for a big in Myles Turner, Willie Cauley- Stien, or Trey Lyles. Maybe you need a forward like Frank Kaminsky, Montrezl Harrell, Kristaps Porzingis or guard in Devin Booker, R.J. Hunter or one of my personal favorites Kelly Oubre. Whatever the type of player you need this draft has got it. It’s a stacked NBA draft this year. Do my type 5 still confuse you? Maybe you’re wondering why I haven’t jumped on the Kristaps Porzingis or Mario Hezonja sweepstakes feel free to comment.
