  1. Jahlil Okafor: 6”11 Forward/Center- 17.7 PPG, 9 RPG, 1.4BPG, FG 67%

I’m pretty high on Jahlil Okafor and I give him lots of praise. I was hoping there would be a Duke Vs Kentucky faceoff to see which of the two in Towns, or Okafor would get the better of each other. I have Jahlil Okafor at two is because he would be the only player offensively ready for the NBA.

Okafor has that classic back to the basket big man game. His body is pretty much the same shape as most big man in the NBA. He bullied people on the collegiate level with his physicality backing down in the post. He’s got a good right hand, left hand, turn around post shot and everything you think of when you think big man. Okafor’s got huge hands, and a soft touch to go with it, which is why he can finish oh so smoothly.  His footwork is amazing for being the age he is at 19, and he also has great passing abilities when he’s doubled teamed in the post. He proved that during his time at Duke facing double teams.

Cons: His ability to get around the pick & roll defiantly needs some work. He’s been questioned on the effort he can put forth. Okafor’s Free throw shooting is a horrid 51% during his tenure at Duke and needs improvement we don’t need another case of Dwight Howard. His defense has come into question, but he’s made it clear it’s something he works on and will get better at. He could do better at rebounding being that he’s 6’11.
