Nate Thompson Suspended 3 Games

According to Steve Whyno of the Canadian Press the NHL has suspended Anaheim Ducks centerman Nate Thompson for an illegal hit on Carolina Hurricanes player Justin Faulk.

This is not the first time Thompson has received a punishment for a illegal hit. Thompson the former 6th round pick of the Boston Bruins and is in his second season with the Ducks.
