Thompson underwent shoulder surgery in the summer and has been working his way back to health. His expected return to the ice next week does not mean he is ready for game action. However, it is good see Thompson rehab progressing nicely.
Thompson is a former 6th round pick of Boston Bruins back in 2003. He has spent time with the Bruins, New York Islanders, Tampa Bay Lightning and now the Ducks.
Last year with the Ducks he appeared in 80 games totaling 18 points. As more information surfaces on Thompson and his injury we will keep you up to date.
