MNF Preview: Chicago Bears Vs. San Diego Chargers

Chicago Bears fans are one of the more passionate fans in the land. San Diego Chargers fans are fighting to keep their team in their city. One thing both teams have in common is that they are both struggling this season.

The Bears come into tonight’s game with a 2-5 record while the Chargers hobble in with a 2-6 record. To make matters worst one of the bright spots on the team will miss the rest of the season. Keenan Allen who was in the top of the league in catches and yards injured his kidney last week and is forced to miss the rest of the year.

Philip Rivers is having his best season of his career and will now have to rely on heavily on Malcom Floyd, Steve Johnson, and Antonio Gates.

The club is currently on their longest losing streak since 2012. On the other side the Bears will be without running back Matt Forte. Forte suffered a knee injury in the club’s last game and will not be available.

Jay Cutler has been playing better as of late but the injuries dealt throughout the roster will be tough to overcome. The Chargers high powered offense will look to turn yardage into points. The club is at the top of the league in yards per game but in the middle of the pack in points.

Both team’s desperately need a win but I think the Chargers will be able to pull this one out even without Allen.
