Robinson is a former 5th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft out of the University of Kansas. Robinson has spent time with the Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, and Los Angeles Lakers throughout his career.
Last season with the Lakers Robinson played in 48 games starting in 1 game. Robinson averaged 5 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting a career high 54% from the field.
With the Lakers draft class this year Robinson became the odd man out. He will certainly get an opportunity with someone in the league next year. His high energy and effort made his a valuable member of the team.
