Minnesota TimberWolves Vs. Los Angeles Clippers, Start Time, Preview, TV
- Updated: December 1, 2014
The Minnesota TimberWolves will take on the Los Angeles Clippers tonight at the Staples Center. It will be the Clippers first home game after a long 7 game road trip. What served to be a successful road trip the Clippers they ended it against the Jazz with a win on Saturday.
Tonight’s game against the T’Wolves will be the first of four in a row at home. The Wolves are coming off a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. Flip Saunders had this to say about the Wolves defense according to ESPN.com.
“I though defensively our zone was good tonight,” Minnesota coach Flip Saunders said. “But they scored a lot of their offense out of our offense. We had some turnovers and some ill-advised shots, and they were able to score in those situations.”
Many of the TimberWolves players are sick or injured currently. Ricky Rubio is out with a left ankle injury. Kevin Martin and Nikola Pekovic are both out with wrist injuries, and Ronny Turiaf is out with a hip injury.
With the Wolves down a lot of players and far less talented than the Clippers this could pose as a trap game. For some reason the Lakers took the Wolves lightly and they snuck up on them and beat them.
While the Clippers are far more focused and put together than the Lakers, they should not take the Wolves lightly. The Clippers have been away from home for a long time and the Clipper faithful are eager to see a win in Staples. The Clippers should handle their business tonight.
