Mike Trout Wins Silver Slugger Award

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim outfielder Mike Trout has won the Silver Slugger Award for the American League.

Trout had another spectacular season for the Halos. Trout was named to his fifth straight All-Star game this season even though the club struggled.
Trout’s numbers this year was a typical Trout year. He recorded 173 hits to go along with 29 homeruns and 100 RBI’s. He also set a career high in walks drawing 116 hits.
