Mike Trout Named To 5th All-Star Game

According to Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim outfielder Mike Trout will start in his fourth consecutive All-Star game.

Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reported further details of the news.
Mike Trout joins Ken Griffey Jr., Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Al Kaline & Ivan Rodriguez as four-time AL All-Star starters before age 25.

Trout is having another outstanding season. So far in 2016 he is batting .324 with 17 home runs and 54 RBI’s. Along the Angels are struggling and are at the bottom of the AL West standings Trout is doing everything he possibly can for his club.
For Trout this his fifth overall All-Star selection and has won back to back All-Star game MVP and will try to be the first one to three-peat.
