Mike Trout Dealing With Right Thumb Contusion

According to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim star Mike Trout is dealing with a right thumb contusion.

Trout was hit in the wrist last night that DiGiovanna reported.
#Angels CF Mike Trout hit in the right wrist area by a Tommy Hunter fastball in T8 and comes out of the game. That’s not good.

DiGiovanna went on to report that Trout is fine and will be available to play tonight.

For the Angels who have struggled all year with injuries anytime of Trout being out would have been even more devastating.
Trout is having a typical Trout year hitting .309 and 13 home runs. The Angels are sitting at 27-36 on the year and will take on the Minnesota Twins tonight.
