According to Tony Cinigilo of the Los Angeles Daily News the Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Mike Bolsinger will get the start for the Dodgers today.

Bolsinger will make his second start of the season this year. With the numerous injuries in the Dodgers rotation he’ll get another shot to prove his worth.

The Los Angeles Times writes the following about Mike Bollinger:

“A significant reason the Dodgers have had a constant shuttle going to and from triple-A Oklahoma City is that two-fifths of their rotation is in flux. Bolsinger made one previous start for the Dodgers, holding the San Francisco Giants to one run on five hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Bolsinger is one of five pitchers – Carlos Frias, Scott Baker, David Huff, Joe Wieland — who have been called up to make a spot start. Manager Don Mattingly said he’s not concerned that all the movement up and down is affecting the players.”

In his first start he pitched 5.1 innings allowing 1 run on 5 hits. The Dodgers won an entertaining one last night thanks to a Scott Van Slyke walk-off home run.
