Michael Dimock

SAN DIEGO, CA- According to Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union Tribune, San Diego Padres pitching prospect Michael Dimock has been suspended 50 games for failing a drug test.

Bob Nightengale of USA Today tweeted his thoughts on the matter.

Dimock was drafted by the Astros in 2012 and spent this year with the Padres. He posted a 2.10 ERA this season. This is his second offense and most likely will end his tenure with the Padres.
