Memphis Edge Out The Lakers, 103-100

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered another loss, this time to Memphis Grizzlies, 103-100.
A late fourth-quarter run fueled by a career night by Troy Daniels was the difference in this game. Daniels scored 31 and was the key to a short-handed Memphis staff. Lou Williams scored 40 points coming off the Los Angeles bench to keep the Los Angeles close. Luol Dang added a season-high of 18 points to help the Lakers offense.
Los Angeles is still hurting, Larry Nance Jr. sat out with a right knee contusion and Nick Young is still healing from a strained right calf. D’Angelo Russell is still out with a knee injury. To make matters worst, Jose Calderon who was inserted into the Los Angeles starting lineup, left the game in the first quarter with a right hamstring strain.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS FOR THE LAKERS:
Despite no players for Los Angeles having double-figures in rebounds, the Lakers got the edge in the category, 52-51. But the team committed 18 turnovers and this was one of the main factors in the loss.
NEXT UP FOR THE LAKERS:
The team will return home after a 1-3 road trip to face the Utah Jazz on Monday night. Los Angeles is now 10-12 for the season and are eight games behind the Golden State Warriors in the NBA’s Pacific Division.
