Melvin Gordon Heading To IR

According to Adam Schefter of the ESPN.com San Diego Chargers rookie running back Melvin Gordon is out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury.

Ricky Henne of the Chargers also reported the news.
Melvin Gordon has cartilage damage in his knee and is being placed on IR.

Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union Tribune reported that the rookie will get a second opinion before getting surgery.

It’s no doubt that Gordon has struggled this season. Chargers head coach Mike McCoy believes that Gordon has a bright future with the club.
