According to Rowan Kavner of the Los Angeles Clippers small forward Matt Barnes is listed as “out” for tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings.
Barnes has been dealing with a hamstring injury that he suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Houston Rockets. Although he suffered an injury in that game more people remember him for his tackle on James Harden that awarded Barnes a flagrant foul.
Matt Barnes was out in last night’s game against the Charlotte Hornets with the injury. Hedo Turkoglu got the start in his place and should be expected to start again tonight.
Jordan Hamilton went down with a sprained ankle in last night’s victory so the Clippers may be in the market to sign another wing player.
Jamal Crawford, Hamilton, and Barnes all being out puts a lot of stress on J.J. Redick to play more minutes. The Clippers will need to have everyone healthy come playoff time to make a deep run at the title.
