Mark Borowiecki Suspended For Boarding Tyler Toffoli

According to Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times, Ottawa Senators defensmen Mark Borowiecki has been suspended two games for boarding Los Angeles Kings forward Tyler Toffoli.

Borowiecki received a five-minute major for the hit. Los Angeles went on to win the game 4-1 and Borowiecki missed last night’s contest against the Anaheim Ducks.
Borowiecki will also miss Wednesday’s night’s contest against the San Jose Sharks. Los Angeles will begin a nine game road trip in Buffalo against the Sabers on Tuesday night.
