Servais spent the last four years with the Halos with Jerry Dipoto. After Dipoto resigned due to his issues with skipper Mike Scioscia it was only a matter of time before Servais and Dipoto would reunite.
Servais has no managerial experience and that doesn’t seem to be a problem in today’s game according to Rosenthal.
New #Mariners manager Scott Servais has never managed or coached at any level. No one even blinks; such hirings becoming almost the norm.
