The Los Angeles Lakers will continue their road trip this evening as they take on the Toronto Raptors with a trip across the border. The Lakers will be without Nick Young while Jeremy Lin is listed as “day-to day.” For the Raptors, their only injury lies in Kyle Lowry who will be out for today’s matchup.

The Lakers have currently won two of their last three, granted the wins came from beating the league’s two worst teams, but hey, a win is a win. After a twenty point night, the rookie Jeremy Clarkson spoke to the media to give his thoughts. (As reported by ESPN.com)

“I think I took a few steps back,” the rookie said. “I didn’t take care of the ball well, held the ball a little too much on the offensive end. I’ve just got to keep growing, man, go back and watch the film, learn from it.”

The Raptors could be winning a division title this season and they grabbed their playoff spot on Wednesday due to Boston and Charlotte losing. DeMar Rozan said the following as reported by ESPN.com:

“Our confidence is still high,” said DeMar DeRozan, who has averaged 25.7 points in his last three against the Lakers. “All we need is that one game to get ourselves going.”
