The Los Angeles Lakers (0-1) travel to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns (0-0) for the second game of the regular season. The Lakers are coming off a lost to the Houston Rockets last night.
The bigger story for the Lakers was that rookie Julius Randle went down with a broken fibula and will most likely be out for the season. Click here to read about the injury.
The Phoenix Suns are coming off a successful season as they almost made the playoffs. They added lightning quick guard Isiah Thomas and are looking forward to a big season.
The Lakers will face the challenge of stopping the Suns guards. The combination of Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe, and Isiah Thomas will be a tough task to handle.
It will be interesting to see how Kobe Bryant’s legs will feel on the second night of a back to back. Bryant shot just 6-17 in last night’s loss. With the loss of Randle the Lakers will need to get over the emotional shock.
