The Los Angeles Lakers will travel to Oklahoma tonight as they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Lakers will look to keep improving their game, but they will be without Steve Nash indefinitely (as he announced his retirement), Nick Young, and Jeremy Lin who is listed as “Day-To-Day.” As for the Thunder, Kevin Durant, Serge Ibaka, and Andre Roberson are out for tonight’s game. Nick Collison and Enes Kanter are listed as “Day-to-Day.”

The stats for the Lakers, on the road, do not give much hope for a win tonight. They have been outscored by 18.4 points in their five game road losing streak in the regular season series. They have also dropped four game straight and lost 15 of 16 on the road.

The Thunder will be saying thanking Russell Westbrook at the end of this season. He has been a bright spark as his partner in crime, Kevin Durant, has been out. ESPN.com reports the following:

“Westbrook is averaging NBA bests of 31.6 points and 11.3 assists since the All-Star break to go with 9.7 rebounds per game. The Thunder have won three straight overall 19 of 21 at home.

“I’m just trying to find my teammates. A lot of teams our doubling and putting a lot of pressure on me, my job is to find my guys and get them open shots,” Westbrook said. “We have a lot of guys down, a lot of guys keep getting hurt. We just need to keep coming out and keep competing.”
