The Los Angeles Lakers will continue their road trip tonight as they take on the New Orleans Pelicans. The Memphis Grizzlies beat the Lakers last night, click here to read the recap.

Carlos Boozer is coming off his best game as a Laker. We hope his strong play will continue. Last night the Duke product scored 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds before fouling out in the fourth quarter.

Kobe Bryant scored 28 points last night. He made headlines as he set the record for most misses in a career. Click here to read more the NBA record.

On the other hand, the New Orleans Pelicans are coming off a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Anthony Davis is living up to every bit of hype everyone has built up so far this season. In the Cavs game Davis scored 27 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, dished out 4 assists, 4 steals, and three blocks. Talk about a complete game for the big fella.

Davis had this say about the game according to ESPN.com:

“In order for you to become one of the best you have to play the best and learn from them,” Davis said. “I love playing against LeBron and the Cavs. They’re a tough team. They have three players who can score the ball at will. We broke down defensively. They scored 118 points. We can’t allow teams to do that.

Ryan Anderson had a huge game as well. The former Orlando Magic shooter shot lights out. He went 11/19 from the field including 8 three pointers as he scored 32 points.

It will be a difficult task for the Lakers to try and defend both Davis and Anderson. Jordan Hill will need to be physical in the post and try to limit Davis’ production. Tonight the Lakers will try to right the ship as they seek their second victory of the season.
