Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Los Angeles Clippers Start Time, Preview, TV

Tonight the Los Angeles Clippers will host the Lakers in a Staples Center rivalry. The Clippers will look to extend their season series lead to 2-0 after they beat the Lakers back on Halloween 118-111.
For the Lakers they are coming off a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night. Kobe Bryant did not travel with the team to Portland as he needed the rest before playing three games in five nights starting today.
In Monday’s night’s loss the Lakers were unable to score key buckets down the stretch. Despite the criticism Bryant is still one of the best in the business in making clutch baskets to propel his team to victory. Nick Young spoke to ESPN.com about the Lakers struggles down the stretch against Portland.
“Of course we needed Kobe down the stretch,” Nick Young said after the Lakers were outscored 28-21 in the fourth against the Trail Blazers. “We’re all so used to him being there (in) the last couple minutes in the game. Obviously we needed him tonight, but we still had a chance.”
The Clippers are also coming off a loss of their own. They played host to the red-hot Atlanta Hawks on Monday night and were unable to get the win. The Atlanta Hawks walked out of Staples Center with a 107-98 victory as Blake Griffin struggled from the field.
So far this season the Clippers have done excellent job beating the bottom feeders of the league but have struggled against the league’s best teams. Tonight shouldn’t be a problem for the far more talented Los Angeles Clippers in this one.
