The Los Angeles Lakers will travel tonight to take on the Denver Nuggets. The Lakers will be without Nick Young, and Wayne Ellington€.

The Nuggets are ready to take on the Lakers. Coach Melvin Hunt is feeling confident after recent wins and he said the following to ESPN.com:

“We want to take care of business in these three home games,” coach Melvin Hunt said. “Let’s start with the Lakers, a young team that’s playing hard. We want to come out and make sure we play well in this home stretch.”

“You see a bunch of young guys that are auditioning,” Melvin Hunt said of the Lakers. “They want to show the NBA world what they’re capable of doing. They’re going to play hard. The Clarkson kid, if you don’t know about him. you will. He’s a good player.”

As for the Lakers, they will be playing for the first time since the BIZZARE Byron Scott quote. You can read our thoughts on it here.

Scott also said the following about his team. As reported by ESPN.com:

“The only thing right now that is a definite is that we’re not making the playoffs,” Scott said. “Other than that, we still have work to do. You’re still trying not only to implement some of the things for next year as well — and we don’t know how many of these guys will be here — but first thing is, I don’t quit.”

Let’s go Lakers!
