There are no details on what the Lakers offered but added Waiters would have been a interesting move. The Lakers already have scoring guard options with Nick Young, Kobe Bryant, and even Jeremy Lin.
The Cavs do need a rim protector so it is believed that Robert Sacre was involved in the talks. The Lakers have been involved in numerous trade talks this season in an effort to improve the team.
