Los Angeles Lakers Lose To Nuggets 119-101

The Los Angeles Lakers were not able to beat the Denver Nuggets even though they hoped to go to the Pepsi Center and break their four game losing streak. This was a battle between two teams facing the NBA lottery. Currently, the Nuggets hold seventh worst record in the league and the Lakers are the fourth worst.
The game started off slowly as both teams struggled to get on the board, but this was soon followed by a dunk from Ryan Kelly and an 11-0 run from the Nuggets. Denver’s up ten, and after a jumper from new-comer Dwight Buycks, the score was slimmed down to eight. The first quarter ended 35-33, in favor of Denver.
Ryan Kelly had a strong game tonight for the Lakers as he put up 17 points, and Dwight Buycks had a career high of 15 points, as well as 5 assists and 3 rebounds. Jordan Clarkson impressed again tonight with 21 points.
As for the Nuggets, Kenneth Faried scored 29 points and 11 rebounds, which is a season high for him. Danilo Gallinari had 27 and Ty Lawson had 16 points.
The game ended 119-101.
