Los Angeles Lakers Host San Antonio Spurs

The Los Angeles Lakers will host the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. San Antonio is one of the best teams in the league with their eyes on another championship while the Lakers are looking toward the offseason.

Los Angeles comes into the game with 9-35 record while the Spurs have a 37-6 clip. This game feature two of the five starters for the Western Conference in this year’s All-Star game.

Kawhi Leonard is having an MVP caliber is season and has been named a starter for the first time in his career. Kobe Bryant playing in his 20th NBA season will represent the Western Conference for the 18th time.

Bryant is listed a probable tonight due to the shoulder and achilles injury he is dealing with. Brandon Bass is coming off his best game of the season and is listed as probable as well. He is dealing with a foot injury.

San Antonio is led by Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge. Leonard is having a breakout season averaging 20.1 points per game. Aldridge is enjoying his role in the Spurs system is averaging 15.9 points a night and grabbing 9 rebounds.

The Lakers are facing a tall order tonight but remember they did beat the Spurs last year thanks to Nick Young and his clutch three pointer.
