Los Angeles Lakers 1-1 After Two

@Billyraysmith

The Lakers have gotten off to a respectable start this season, opening up with an impressive 120-114 vs Houston before falling at Utah in a competitive game.

Jordan Clarkson, D’Angelo Russell, and Lou Williams have each impressed so far, averaging 14.5 PPG across the board.

The team is hopeful rookie Brandon Ingram will be ready to go in tomorrow night’s tilt at unbeaten OKC. Ingram suffered a knee injury in Friday’s loss to the Jazz.

It’s way too early to be getting into this, but at this very moment, the Lakers, in theory, hold a playoff spot. We’ll see if they’re able to sustain that over the course of an 82-game regular season.

Los Angeles is looking to improve this season after a rocky past two seasons. New head coach Luke Walton will try to bring Los Angeles back to winning ways that the franchise has seen over the decorated history.

The Lakers will take on a hungry OKC team.
