Los Angeles Kings Vs. San Jose Sharks Start Time, Preview, TV

The Los Angeles Kings will head to the Bay Area tonight to take on the San Jose Sharks. What was a hard fought game on Monday night, the Kings eventually fell to the Calgary Flames in overtime 2-1.
Tonight will be the third time the Sharks and Kings have met this season. The Sharks blanked the Kings 4-0 in their first matchup and the Kings won 3-1 in their most recent.
Monday night’s loss was big for the Kings as they are jockeying for position in the playoffs. Getting out of Los Angeles may be good for the Kings. On their recent homestand the Kings were just 1-2-4.
Currently the Kings are one point out of the wildcard spot in the Western Conference. If the Kings want to win this game they need to make sure they avoid overtime or a shootout. They are just 2-12 this season in those situations dropping their last 8.
Robyn Regehr who returned from an injury last game told Yahoo Sports this about the Kings recent struggles.
”We’re just not doing a really good job in overtime, when things really count,” said defenseman Robyn Regehr, who returned after missing 12 games with a hand injury. ”Whether it’s 4 on 4, giving up chances or having too many turnovers and helping the other team go the other way, we’re just not doing a good job in the overtime.’
