Los Angeles Kings Vs. Boston Bruins Start Time, Preview, TV
- Updated: January 31, 2015
The Los Angeles Kings travel to Boston to take on the Bruins in the first game of their five game road trip. In the Kings last game they made an excellent comeback and beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3. Tonight they will look to build off the win on the road against a tough Bruin team.
This will be the second game between these two teams the Kings won that matchup 2-0. In the win Jonathan Quick recorded a shutout which he hasn’t done since then.
The Kings have lost seven of their last nine games but they are looking to put their inconsistencies in the past. The win against the Blackhawks should serve as a confidence booster for the team. Tyler Toffoli spoke to the Kings official team website about after the win.
“We know our group of guys, we’ve been saying that all year,” Tyler Toffoli told the Kings’ official site after scoring his 13th goal. “Tonight was a night that we wanted to prove to ourselves that we could win big games and we did it tonight. One game at a time, and we’ve got 34 left.”
The Bruins come into today’s game winning seven out of their last nine games. They are one of the best teams in the league in penalty killing. We’ll see if the Kings will bring their A game in order to start this road trip out right.
