Voynov will return to court on December 15th for a preliminary hearing. Voynov was arrested back in October for a reported domestic violence incident with his wife.
The NHL suspended Voynov indefinitely, which is pending the results of the court’s decision. Larry Altman of the Daily Breeze reported that Voynov has beefed up his defense team today as well.
LA Kings Slava Voynov added atty Pamela Robillard Mackey to his defense team today. She’s known for representing #Lakers #KobeBryant

Voynov played in all 82 games last season for the Kings. He totaled 30 assists during the regular season, and added 7 more in the playoffs as the Kings went on to win the Stanley Cup.
The Kings will try to block on the distraction of Voynov as they take on the Boston Bruins at home tomorrow night.
