Los Angeles Kings Assign Nick Shore & J.F. Berube To AHL

According to Rich Hammond of the Orange County register the Los Angeles Kings have assigned Nick Shore and J.F. Berube to the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL.
Kings have assigned Nick Shore and J.F. Berube to Manchester. They can play there tomorrow, during All-Star break.

Nick Shore was able to get his first points of his NHL career in last night’s loss to the rival San Jose Sharks.
NHL.com reports the following about the two players:
“Selected in the third-round (82nd overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the Kings, Shore appeared in 37 games earlier this season with Manchester (AHL), collecting a career-best 41 points (20-21=41), a plus-22 rating and 14 penalty minutes. At the time of his recall on Jan. 12, among league-leaders, he was tied for first in goals, tied for third in PPG (7), first in SHG (3), second in points and tied for ninth in assists. Shore was also named to his first AHL All-Star game.”
KTVZ.com describes Berube’s record as “19-4-5 with a 2.05 goals-against average, a .920 saves percentage and two shutouts for Manchester.”
