Los Angeles Clippers Waive Jordan Farmar

Following the three-way deal that brings Austin Rivers to the Clippers, the team has decided to waive Jordan Farmar.

You can see how the story plays out in a series of tweets from Arash Markazi:

As reported by Clips Nation,

“The Clippers signed Farmar using their biannual exception and expected him to be a reliable backup point guard, replacing the departed Darren Collison. Unfortunately, that dream never materialized during his short tenure with the team — per 82games, his on-off differential of -16.3 was the lowest of anyone on the team.”

Jordan Farmar averaged 7.7 points and 2.9 assists and excelled with the Lakers, the place where he won two Championship rings. A reunion to the Lakers would be most desirable to Farmar as that’s where he’s most happy.
