The Los Angeles Clippers will take on the Detroit Pistons tomorrow night in Detroit, in the Palace of Auburn Hills. The Clippers are coming off a win against the Charlotte Hornets. Click here to read the recap.
On the other hand, the Pistons are coming off a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
“We just have to play hard and consistent for as long as we can,” veteran forward Caron Butlersaid. “We have to try string together some wins, particularly at home, and start to feel good about yourself. It’s going to happen by committee.”
The matchup between the Clippers and the Pistons has gone LA’s way the past six meetings, and Detroit have conceded three of those in the Palace of Auburn Hills. The Clippers will look to add another win to their very lengthy road trip. Their last visit resulted in a 112-103 win.
After an easy win against Charlotte, Chris Paul averaged 22 points and 15 assists as the Clippers improved to 3-1 on the trip.
“This is our fourth year together and obviously your game changes and evolves and stuff like that, but we both realize our bread and butter used to be when I would attack downhill and he was rolling to the basket,” Paul said. “So we are trying to mix that in more.”
If the Clippers want to win this game tonight they will have to move the ball effectively and act on the Pistons inconsistencies. The Pistons have their point guard Brandon Jennings out and the Clippers can act on that.
