Los Angeles Clippers are hot ladies and gentlemen. The Clippers continue to play excellent basketball as tonight they beat the Magic 114-86. While the Clippers were already on a five game winning streak they wanted to make sure that number hit six.  On Monday night they handled the Minnesota Timberwolves with ease 127-101.

Blake Griffin lead the charge tonight. He had 21 points, 8 rebounds, and  6 assists. Matt Barnes scored 17 points, while Chris Paul notched another double-double. Paul scored 19 points and dished 10 assists. J.J. Redick’s hot hand continued as he scored 20 points including four bombs from behind the arch.

Spencer Hawes added 12 points off the bench. While the Clippers shot 53% from the field, and outrebounded the Magic by 10, they did commit 17 turnovers. Although it didn’t hurt them tonight the Clippers need to be mindful of that going forward.

For the Magic, Tobias Harris scored 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Ben Gordon scored 11 off the bench. The Magic struggled to make free throws tonight as they shot just 52% from the charity stripe.

Magic forward Kyle O’Quin was ejected in the second quarter after receiving a flagrant 2 for a foul on Blake Griffin.  The Clippers were in control the entire night but used a big third quarter to really distant themselves from their opponent.

Big man Nikola  Vucevic did not play tonight for the Magic due to back issues. Aaron Gordon was also out for the Magic due to a broken metatarsal in his left foot.

With the win the Clippers extend their winning streak to six in a row. They will be off until Saturday night when they take on the New Orelans Pelicans.
