Los Angeles Angels Lose To Red Sox 8-3

The Los Angeles Angels lost to the Boston Red Sox tonight 8-3, following a win last night.
C.J. Wilson got the start for the Halos. He pitched 6 innings allowing 7 hits . He did strike out 6.
On the other hand Steven Wright got the start for the Sox. He lasted 6.1 innings. He struck out 2 and walked 1.
The Angels got on the board first in the game. Kole Calhoun doubled to left center, Erik Aybar and Albert Pujols scored in the first inning.
Mike Napoli answered with a solo shot of his own in 6th inning. His blast to center tied the game at 1-1. Mookie Betts singled to left center in the third inning, and Brock Holt scored, pushing Dustin Pedroia to second.
The 6th inning saw Mike Napoli (7) with 2 run shot to left center off of Wilson, Hanley Ramirez scored. And in the seventh inning Xander Bogaerts singled to right, while Blake Swihart and Betts scored, and moved Ramirez to second.
In the 8th Mike Trout came out and singled to left center, helping Aybar score. For the Sox they completed the eight inning by, Swihart singling to right, Holt scoring, and Swihart going to second advancing on throw. Betts then singled to left, and Swihart scored.
The Angels and Red Sox will continue their series tomorrow afternoon at 1:35 p.m.
