Nance Jr. had earned the starting power forward spot over Julius Randle this season. So far Nance is averaging 10.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. His defensive energy as well the ability to play above the rim was a key asset for Los Angeles early in this season.
Rookie Kyle Kuzma will take over the starting duties for the foreseeable future. Los Angeles will look to make it two wins in a row when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night.
