Mike Trudell of the Lakers shared his thoughts on the news.
Bummer for Nance, Jr., who looked fully healthy after a season of minor knee issues. But fractures do heal, and camp is 2.5 months away.

Nance Jr. has been a fan favorite at summer league receiving MVP chants in Vegas. Nance and D’Angelo Russell had been leading the Lakers this summer until the injury and their loss last night.
For Nance his ability to play inside and out could make him a key player for Los Angeles next season under rookie coach Luke Walton. Hopefully Nance will be good to go for camp after battling various injuries last season.
